A special moment I enjoyed with my family and cousins

Go-Karting has been one of the best sport I had ever tried. This love started about four to five years back when my family went to Malacca for the holidays with some friends.  The go-kart venue was not a fancy one, just roads with tires around it but I still loved it.  The trill of going fast, with the wind blowing into my face is superbly divine.

Two years ago, we went to Genting Highlands with my cousins, aunt and uncle.  After a three day stay there, we made our way on car back to Singapore.  However, we decide to take a detour and headed for Malacca to ride the go-karts.  We arrived in the nick of time as the shop was about to close early due to the lack of business that day.  So we got our helmets and prepared to ride.  We raced and I won as I have more experience after riding every time I go to Malaysia.

After the race, we decided to ride the ATV's.  We strapped on our safety pads and chose an ATV.  I feel the ATVs are more dangerous even though the go-karts are much faster as tha ATVs are higher increasing the possibility of toppling over.  Nevertheless, it was still great as the ATV track had ramps, slopes and bumps all over the place along the dirt-floored track.

Finally, we went on the last vehicle, the Buggies.  This was by far the most challenging as it was a huge two-seater buggy going up and down slopes which were at an angle of forty-five degrees.  It was wicked fun!

Good and bad things taht happened to me that day.

Today was a bittersweet day for me. It started in the morning. I woke up and found myself on the couch as I had fallen asleep watching television. Have you heard of the Facebook group called “I dream I was falling and wake up with a spasm”? Well, that was what happened to me and because I was lying down on the sofa, I fell of. My head hit the corner of the coffee table in front of the couch causing the formation of a blue-black spot on my head. Now, some people who are eager to go to school would get ointment on the blue-black spot and get ready for school. I was not some people. I went back to dreamland on the floor till my maid shook me awake.

When I woke up, I started coughing and my throat felt sore and dry. I then just remembered that I was ill since the barbeque on Saturday, which was 4320 minutes ago. My illness consisted of coughing, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, running nose and fever. I ignored the coughing and went to bathe. I was packing my bag when my mother came out from her room and asked me if I wanted to go to school. It did not occur to me the possibility of such a thing till then. However, I still went to school as I did not feel like going back to sleep. Yes, I skipped a chance to miss school.

These two events that I just typed to you about are under the “Bitter” part of my bittersweet day. Here is the sweet part. It was P.E. After a hundred metres dash and a run around the school, we played soccer.

We started off with soccer. I had passed up my usual post of goalkeeper to let my team mate give it a go. So off I went playing as a striker. It was a great game and the score was 1-1 with a minute to go. I was the striker; however, I did not contribute much in that position so I mainly slacked the game away but when I saw that only a minute was left, I tried to get into the game more. That was when a miracle happened. My team mate passed to me much to my surprise. I controlled the ball and looked up to see if anyone was applying pressure on me. Nobody was doing so hence, I looked for my team mate near the goal and passed to him across goal. The pass too far from the goal for the opposing goalkeeper to get it but it was near enough for my team mate to tap the ball in with ease. We were ecstatic. We ran about with our hands in the air like a crazy maniac. We won by a score of two goals to one and I had the winning assist.

That, was the sweet part of my day.

Something that took place in school

Hmm..today was one of those days where lots of things happen but most of the "lots of things" are completely unitneresting. I woke up in the morning and was given a lift to school by my friend, Syazwan's, father. All along the way, i was reading my Maths textbook for a Congruency and Similarities test.  I really wanted to do well for the first test of the year after failing Maths CA2 and SA2 last year.  You could imagine my shock when i got my report card and found out that I had passed. C5 was my grade. It was not super but at least I did not fail after getting the E's. So I cammed and crammed but in the end, lack of sleep for the previous days caught up to me and I dozed off in the comfort of the cooling air-con. ZzZzZ..I was woken up by Syazwan who told me we had reached school.  I hurriedly gathered my books which were covered with drool and shoved them into my bag.

Later that day,  I spent recess studying for the maths test again.  I may sound like a guy who loves studying but believe me I'm the completely the opposite. It is just that I have this new found determinaton to do well after last year's results.  It is freaking me out but at least I'm smarter now ( I think ).

          RRriinG!

There goes the bell signalling the end of recess.  I checked my timetable and groaned.  It ws Home Economics next.  I am a utter failure in sowing. I am getting better at it I guess. Only twice did I accidentally pierce myself. New record.  However, something really eye-opening happened during this three period class.  Fellow classmate, R*x H**, really shocked people. (I'm not going to show his real name as I do not want him to get angry). I'm not gonna keep on using R*x H**  so let's call him errmm..Bob.  Well, Bob was a fellow classmate who like myself had trouble with sowing.  However, a bunch of rowdy classmates near him talking loudly together with the difficulty of the stitching, he exploded. He began shouting about and thrwe a chair which narrowly missed me.  He then went to a corner of the room and did his work. Total shock overcame the class and the two teachers. Not knowing what to do, everybody continued with their work. Chill Bob..chill.

I'm done for now... by the way, the Maths test was not as difficult as anticipated but I knew that I made a few careless mistakes.  Okay. That's it for now. Cya

A moment spent doing something I enjoyed.

Dear people reading this post, thank you for taking your time to read this post.

Pain overcame me when I tried to get out of bed in the morning.  I just had my class BBQ yesterday and it was absolutely tiring.  I even had CCA in the morning before the BBQ.  9pm was the planned end time of the whole BBQ but the clearing up of the place took about forty-five minutes.  Luckily, Danial Aqil, my classmate, and his parents were kind enough to give me a lift home.  Dropped dead on my bed and fell to sleep as soon as I reach home.

So here I am the next day, rubbing my knees, trying fruitlessly to ease the pain and weariness.  I gave up and went to bathe.  I died down on the bed again after wearing my clothing.  I had the house to myself as my parents were out and my sisters were at swimming classes.

However, I did not feel like making full use of the freedom and instead, took a book, put on my earpiece, played a track on my mp3 and lied down on the bed. This is something I enjoy doing as I always feel more relaxed and calm. I used this as a time to rid my mind of the pressure from my studies and just simply chill. Sometimes, I just daydream while listening to my favourite songs. I always daydream and think about all the fond memories I have had with my families and friends. This alwasy help me be more positive and do things such as studying, more willingly especially after such a tiring day.

        Signing off, RiZear.

Something unusual that happened today.

SSssnOOrrEe.....oh! What?! Oh, I am sorry, I might have dozed for awhile there.  Today was unbelievably tiresome. Today consisted of two events, my CCA in the morniong and the class BBQ in the afternoon till night.

I first started feeling the tiredness when I was having PT (physical training) during my CCA, Scouts.  Our PT today was running up and down floors and along the corridors of the school.  It was utterly torturous.  I could barely keep up with the group.  I groan when I remembered that the games was right after PT.  I had absolutely no mood for tiring myself more so I slacked a lot during th game which was, Soccer.  After the meeting, we even had to stay back to carry poles and stuff from the fifth floor to the Scout's den on the fifth floor.

After Scouts, I went to Tampines Mall to pick up the Class T-Shirts before making my way back to school for the class BBQ.  When I reached school, half of the class were already there playin floorball.  Even our form teacher, Mr Su Ronghua played (he was excellent at floorball by the way).  I played and played till I felt the tiresomeness again.  Later, when the food had arrived, I stopped playing and helped my classmates who were having trouble startbi the fire,  This was manly why I was so tire \n sore.
